Paul Bernstein, MD, FACS, is a practicing Head and Neck Surgeon,
Chair of the Head and Neck Division of the American Cancer Society, and founder of the Kaiser
Permanente Historical Society. He is the Medical Director for KP in San Diego.
His novels have won numerous awards: First place in the San Diego Book Awards, the 2008 London Book Festival, and
the 2009 San Francisco Book Festival. He has appeared as a medical expert
on Good Morning America, San Diego
television, and was featured on the cover of MD Magazine.
